She is a true gift from God

I met my fiance on July 30,2011 on Black Christians Singles.com. She is a very lovely and beautiful woman who means the world to me. She is a true gift from God and I thank God for her everyday and thank you BlackChristianSingles.com.

It was already ordained from the beginning and God had a plan.

“He that findeth a wife, findeth a good thing, and obtaineth the favor of God.” Proverbs 18:22

It’s hard to believe that in this day and time anything is free. It’s even harder to believe that people are true to their own nature because of this fleshly, deceptive society in which we live. When we say we really love God, it makes you wonder do we really? Are we really sold out to God and living the life that is pleasing unto him or are we compromising the word of God to justify and satisfy our own fleshly desires? One needs to understand that the flesh changes daily, it comes and it goes, but what God does stands forever. When it comes to a Godly relationship, we need to seek God first, delight ourselves in Him, ensuring that our foundation is set in Him, and His word promises to give us the desires of our heart.

When I saw this site, I was excited to know that Christian Singles had a designated place to go on the internet to meet other Christian Singles all over the world free of charge. However, my intellect told me upon first glance and reading several fleshly profiles, that everybody on this site may or may not be Christian. But the real question is do they have a relationship with God which is the key to finding a spiritual mate. But I thank God for BlackChristianSIngles.com in providing such an awesome tool which allowed the Holy Spirit to weed out the counterfeits and opened up the
way for my now future husband to find me.

My motto was “Until God says yes, it’s a no!” In August 2009, I started my first searches, listening to the spirit to direct and guide me. I had emailed and chatted with a few, and one lead to a good friendship which took me off the site. Being led by the Holy Spirit to go back to the site in April 2011, I scanned several profiles and none of them had the words, “I Love the Lord” in the first part of their introductions. So I said to God, “Lord, if I am to connect to any other man on this site, he needs to first and foremost acknowledge you and say just how important you are in his life.” As I continued to scan, I saw the words, “ I Love the Lord”, on the first line of a profile. I clicked and continued to read further and the spirit spoke and said send a message. So I chose one of the generic email messages that said, “I read your profile and it made me smile.” The next day I saw his profile on line and asked if he wanted to chat. As we started
to chat, he kept loosing his connection and we would get disconnected. After several times, I was about to send him a message saying, ”I am too old for this and would prefer to just talk on the phone”, when he sent me a message saying the same thing. Wow! When I shared with him what I was about to send, he said, “that just shows us that we on one
accord.” And the rest they say is history.

History of course, does not come without a few bumps in the road as we began the journey of getting acquainted. At age 46, God used me as a modern day Hannah and blessed my womb to give birth to my first born son. My then husband abandoned us while I was pregnant and I was left to raise him on my own. Now divorced and 51 with a 5 yr old, God saw fit to link me with a 53 yr old man who didn’t believe for one moment that God would give him a woman with a child, especially one so young and still living at home. The amazing thing about it was how he missed this important point. My profile reflected everything about my son, but when he read through my information, God didn’t allow his eyes to see that part. That’s because it was already ordained from the beginning and God had a plan. The anointing on my son’s life requires a strong man of God to help him reach his greatest potential in life and in the Lord. That’s why it was important for us to get past our own way of thinking and receive who God was going to bless us with. It was not about us, but all about God. And again I say, the rest they say is history.

God connected an awesome Man of God in a Street Ministry from Virginia with an awesome Woman of God who is an Evangelist in Tennessee and began to mold, shape and transform our lives, allowing us to meet in September 2011 and now moving us toward an understanding that our lives would be joined together in marriage this Spring/Summer 2012.

All we can say is, “To God Be the Glory for the things He has done….”

A man can find a wife, and a woman can be found on BlackChristianSingles.com, as long as the Lord is your guide. Stay
seeking God and not man, and watch how the Lord will bless.

Sincerely,
Donna & James
